What have outright costs got to do with quality? Do you really believe that your iPhone is "better" because it "costs more" than any Android phone you've seen? Samsung Galaxy SII (16Gb) retails for $899 with a street price of just under $600. iPhone 4S (16Gb) retails for $849 from what I can see. No idea on street price but fairly comparable $rrp-wise, no?

Build quality can be argued. It's thinner and lighter. Sacrifices have to be made somewhere so of course it's not going to feel as sturdy. Have you seen the drop tests done by comparison? The heavier built iPhone has its screen disintegrate upon a face down impact whereas the featherweight Galaxy gets a scratched and chipped screen only. I had the silent switch on my 3GS break twice, so personally the iPhone is losing in build quality for me.

New/different software is always a headfuck when introduced to feeble minds for the first time. Software and menus on any device are a deal maker and breaker for individuals. Everyone's brain works differently (some people's not at all - constantly proved on interweb forums). This does not make one better than the other. It's what suits YOU the individual.

You can't go around telling people they are wrong about their opinion of their phone, especially people who have owned and used both.
