Default Some wan*er keyed my car.

Parked at my sisters in Aveley yesterday and came out to find some prick has keyed the rear qtr panel of my car.

It's quite a deep scratch in a few areas but i really don't want to get the panel resprayed if it can be avoided.

Has anyone had any experience with a detailer who has been able to work there magic without having to repaint?

I've used a mobile paint repair mob previously on another car but was not impressed with their work.

I had the exact thing happen to me, someone keyed my quarter panel when I was parked in Joondalup a few months ago. So I know how it feels

Am interested in seeing the results as I'm yet to do anything about mine..

Use a proper panel beater rather than someone mobile who is keen to get in, get out, get your cash.

It will simply come down to how deep it is.

As i mentioned, i definitely won't use a mobile spray painter again, hoping a detailer can buff the majority of it out somehow.

I see Wax Em Detailing has an advert on here so may send him a PM.

I know how you feel, some prick scuffed the side of the rear bumper on our Evo yesterday at the good food and wine show, Prick didn't leave a note either!

I rubbed most of it out last night (no sexual refference there, but i may have rubbed one out also :P) so it is hard to notice now!

Try buffing it out and see how you go first!

If you can feel the scratch with your nail then mechanical buffing out is necessary in most cases.

This ^ but run the back of your fingernail over it not like picking a booger.

Best a detailer could do it round off the edges of the scratch to make it a little less noticeable.
