I think he was referring to loud pipes save the bike riders lives.
Most riders like loud exhaust not only for the sound, but to be more noticed.

Going against the trend here, but I think some of the Harleys sound pretty wicked

Only Harley Davidsons and flat 4/6s can be heard a suburb away! So distinctive a note that brings me much pleasure. (should be in happy thread).

Everyone gains 400hp in the wet. Saw a pulsar fwd loop it on a roundabout this afternoon. Funny part was, it went back the way it had come, as if to say, "ahh fuck this I'm going back home"
