With a lack of a "things that shit me thread".. I thought I'd post this here.

I've just noticed that during the night my PayPal account has been hacked, and money sent to someone in China :-(

Fark! To make matters worse the payment method used was an old Westrac credit card that I've cancelled and destroyed? Not even sure how the payment was made from that card, but it seems that even though id cancelled the card with westpac - and cut it up - Westpac don't actually stop payments from coming out!

I've changed my passwords and will run some software to check for loggers etc today. I also called my bank and froze my accounts (to make sure no more cash can be taken from my other accounts).

Just after the money was sent I received an email in Chinese/Korean from the same address that the money went to, I'll get it translated today.

Anyone else had experiences like this? Fcuking sucks! Hate the feeling that my cash isn't safe. :-(
