Pretty sure if you go HID's you need to have washers otherwise it is defectable.

Might want to confirm before you buy them if you give a rats.

yes, why?

Ive noticed the 07's have the pop out washer things.. never noticed it on an 06... but I thought it was just one of those "luxury extra's" like SAAB/Mercedes have been doing for years..?

How easy would it be for me to buy WRX headlights and put them in. My car doesnt come with HID's. But the WRX did... would it be a straight swap over, or what?

European vehicles equipped with HID headlamps are required by ECE regulation 48 also to be equipped with headlamp lens cleaning systems and automatic beam levelling control. Both of these measures are intended to reduce the tendency for high-output headlamps to cause high levels of glare to other road users.

A headlamp is a lamp, usually attached to the front of a vehicle such as a car, with the purpose of illuminating the road ahead during periods of low visibility, such as night or precipitation. While it is common for the term headlight to be used interchangeably in informal discussion, headlamp is the technically correct term for the device itself, while headlight properly refers to the beam of light produced and distributed by the device.
Wow.
Brett, you didnt answer my question

Dirt/grime etc can reflect HID light beams easy which can cause the 'high beam' effect for oncoming traffic. Still needs the noob behind the wheel to give them a clean if required but that in effect is the reason.

Shurman, it should be plug and play, the only thing you will require is the wiring harness and the button to setup the auto levelling.

I think the JDMS come with levelling option I think by law they need to be levelling and have washers...

but then again so many have retroffited hids with neither.. just point the beam downwards.
