steering wheel replacement
How hard is it to change a steering wheel?
the newest addition to the fleet (my98) has this poxy Nardi Torino steering wheel and it needs to go! Can you buy any old steerer off ebay and whack it on? What's this boss kit i keep reading about? ie: will this sucker bolt straight on? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/New-OPTION-TU...QQcmdZViewItem

Boss kit allows you to mount aftermarket steering wheels to your car. One is needed with that wheel. You can pick them up at most autoparts shops.

If I remember rightly the MY98 had the old style indicator handle. Hence you are ok. If your car has the newer style handle there are very few boss kits that let you retain the airbag ring. The only issue with this is the indicator cancelling does not work.
But alas, If you are running a MY98 you should be fine. Will definately need the boss kit though. A momo one will set you back about $130. The momo ones are collapsible however I wonder how beneficial this really is as you are only getting a couple of inches free play. Cheers Brendon
