Decided to try repair the Image Dynamics IDQ12 i have, as it really is simply awsm.
Where do I go tho?

Im pretty sure the voice coils are fucked, and the dust cap has a crack in it. So i think i need a re-cone kit or sumshit

suggestions where to go and price i'l be lookin at ?

theres a place next door to Car stereo city in ozzy park, JT electronics or somethign? cant remember exactly, but theyre authorised repairers for alpine gear, not sure if they do subs to that level, but theres no harm in asking if youre desperate

Can't remember the name but there is a place in Morley just down from the galleria on the same road centrelink is on. They do all repairs and fairly cheap too. I last went there about 5 years ago so don't know if they are still there or not but i'm heading that way today so i'll pop in and get the details if I can and let you know

Nope sorry looks like they closed up and buggered off ages ago (It has been 5yrs) Try any of the staging/theatre companies, they should know somewhere good to take it. Good luck cause it's a nice sub

there is a place in ozzy park called jw electronics. they do all the high end home theatres repairs, and alot of car audio. maybe they can help u out
