Type S now has 300 WRMS which is not a bad entry point at all which is what you basically asked for.

My 12inch Pioneer sub does the trick for me. Running off a 2 channel amp, it does as much as i ask of it. Your much better off concentrating on getting decent speakers.

there good...depends what speakers you get.. i got 6 by 9s MB quarts...S type is all you need..
