haha venting is always good... mmm $200 excess sounds sooooo awesome haha.

As for turning it into a drift car... I wish. Love to learn to drift, but obviously would want to get a rwd haha. Maybe when the wrx is paid off... it'd be possible

hey im just wondering whether you could post a more in-depth pic of the dent? if it hasnt been repaired that is haha, my cars currently at the panel beaters but for reasons other than a dent on the left hand passenger side..

im not sure where the dent came from, i park always next to an island at shopping centres.. and yet still..... i think it was a trolley because it is above the > outermost umm angle of the door if you know what i mean.

i asked the panel beaters to take out the dent and they said if they could do it without the paint cracking, itd be $50 or something so... yeah

thanks

Dent has been fixed... perfectly... well it has a war scar (scuff mark) but you can only see it when you get really really close

Mario at Ding King fixed it for $175 and he did such an awesome job.

I was getting it done at a panelbeaters and they were going to charge me $500 because they thought they would crack the paint!

Mario drilled a hole in the side of my door... (posted pic below) and then sort of rubbed the dent out with all these different tools... its amazing really. Then he plugged the hole up... and you can only see it when you open the rear passenger door.

Didn't take any photos of the dent! Should have, but the dent was really quite deep and about 5cm.

Dent was in one of the creases so it was in quite a difficult spot... the trolley had also bounced up as it hit the car... causing an S shape.

Can't tell in that photo where the dent was tho

Very lucky Meggsie!

I had a similar trolley incident in exactly the same side & place, except it cracked the paint. Cost $1800 to respray the whole side of the car. (Its a bugger to blend in WRC Blue.)

Awesome spray job thought.
