Default Anoying noise from dash while driving

Hey got this anoying noise. Comming from cup holder area sounds like a mouse running in the cage. If i pulll the cup holder out and hold it it doesnt make noise as much. I used to pull it out a little and it would stop but now its getting worse. Happends while driving. Constant and very anoying to me. Anyone had this before or have ideas of what it could be.

Cheers

I think there is a mouse behind your dash. The only logical explanation.

I really dont think there's gonna be anyone that could pin point this for you over the net..

Sounds like something is loose.. or a fan is starting to play up

Either way.. process of elimination.. check everything.. then everything again.. and again and again!!

Good Luck with it

I have the answer to you question!!!

Yes the squeeking drove me insane!
Sounded like it was behind the back of the center dash

My mate said he could here it outside the car
It sounded like a stupid bird aspecially if you accelerate and de-accelerate quckly or jerk car .

I found where the source of the problem was when i was pulling my gearbox out.

If you take off you top mount intercooler you will see a support bar from your engine to firewall. There is a rubber mount on each end.

Thats where the noise is coming from.

Sorry but i dont know how to solve it. A little spray of lube there on each end of rubber bush maybe?

Totally remove the cup holder all together and drive without one for a while and she if the noise is still present.
