cannot find consatnt power for stereo wiring.
can any one suggest what the go is??
98 wrx blue with red stripe is constant 12v according to the wiring diagrams ive seen and i cannot read it with a multimeter. i have found illumination and acc however. thanks! |

the fuse for the 'Constant power' isnt blown?

i will check, i have just sold the car to a friend so he has it. but i have to put a new stereo in for him. also when i took the old hu out ever since the alarm will not set. the doors lock but make a clicking noise as if they are tryiong to open ever 10secs... any ideas??

Relay if it is some sort of a timed sequence. Could be a fuse if you cant get constant power. Maybe u got ur multimeter set to AC

There should be constant power to the back of the cigarette lighter.
But agreed. It sounds like a fuse / relay problem. Brendon
