removing rubbing strip from doors
my mate has a vs commodore and wants to remove thr black strips from the doors. we have tried heat, eucalyptus oil and wax/grease remove to no avail. any advice is greatly appreciated.
it leaves a big black line of residue. cheers in advance

just remove it with a hairdryer then use dental floss or fishing line. slowly rub back the sickerflex that will be left there. follow by a cut back ploish and then a gloss polish. did this on my old impreza came up great

Yeah hairdryer, or if u can get a Oxy torch, apply small amounts of heat, glue melts and peel off!

Wax/Grease remover let it sink a little then peale off ..

Let an old person park it by feel.... that way the rubber strips will be gone along with the paint etc.
