Even if he does go gloss Kym, they still start to look shit once theres a weeks worth of brake dust on them. Gun metal hides brake dust pretty well, so thats my vote. But i'll happily do some photoshop work if necessary.

Jan has his wheels painted black on the Heave-Ho... they look great... what makes everyone think these would look any less good if they are painted?

His are gloss black for the record!(I think?)

Yeah but Jimmy, this is exactly what im saying. Jans look awesome when they're clean. But it only takes a bit of brake dust for them to lose the gloss appearance and look a shitty dusty black. ( <3 Jan )

So by all means, paint away. But like ive said, be prepared to clean them very regularly to keep them looking tip top.

I understand what you mean(my rims are also black)... but, no matter what colour rims you have(and i've had a few sets in my time) they will always look average when they are dirty... thats why you keep them clean...

Every time ive seen Benny's car, it has been pretty clean, so I think the black is a great option... plus, he is wanting something that looks good, not that doesnt look too bad when dirty?

just make sure who ever paints does a good job as constant cleaning of painted wheels can lead to paint flaking off prematurely.

True, the gold STi's are easily blackened from brake dust and look shit pretty quickly. I'm voting Gun Metal Benny, get a reputable shop to spray it, dont be a lazy cnut (like me) and youre set
