Clearing Headlights - Perth-WRX.com

I am looking to mod the headlights on the Libo and then paint the backings black. example http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3737

I have seen countless owners do this but I am reluctant to do this myself as it requires removing lights, heating them up in a oven, splitting open etc..Who is the p-diddy guru for this? I can't remember? BANNED?

I was looking at doing this (painting the backing black) on my lib, but i think i am going to wait for a set of second hands at a reasonable price before i attempt it...
Easier for me since i have a MY05, wouldn't be many 2nd hand MY07 headlights floating around

Yeah I've done many of these.

Haven't played with a new libbo yet - but I've done an older B4 which went smoothly.

Very easy to do - more than happy to lend you a hand Dave.

The trickiest bit by the looks of things is removing the front bumper? Shouldn't have to though but we'll see.

Yeah it's not that hard an excercise Dave, I helped a mate clear the headlights on his supra.... just make sure you check them regularly while baking. They'll come apart pretty with an old screwdriver and i just bought a bit of sikaflex to help reseal them after.

try and get the clear indicator bulbs or get the ones that are covered in silver so it hides them properly
