cobra make a very nice seat, avoid using the sebring or evolution as the blind spots can be distracting, the suzuka is by far the best all rounder, in carbon, technology and now outlast, you have a choice of options to suit your budget.

I have a Sparco EVO...it is excellent.
Also Sparco Pro 2000 is a very good seat.
As far as STi seats go, there is no question that the best GD type was the MY02 and for GC, the MY00. But everyone is built differently, so I suggest that you test fit a few.
Also remember that with side mount race seats, it is difficult to get a good slider setup...fixed is much easier but obviously more restrictive.
My Sparco is on a Recaro STi RA-R slider custom modified by Maximum Motorsport.

ah ok awesome. now your username makes sense

if you are going for WRX seats, as the guys above have said, it depends on your build. the Version 2-3 seats (96/97) are the tightest, the Version 7 (02 sti) seats are also pretty awesome and comfy. the seats from 01 onwards sit higher in the car so could affect your head room.

The early ver2-3 seats are basically the same bolstering but with different trim for the WRX / STi. the wrx is a shitty cloth material and the wrx gets the alcantara? or velour or something.

the biggest difference in seats comes with the hinge mechanism, an aftermarket fixed back seat can be as low as 7kg where a late model padded, hinged wrx seat could be up to 40kg including rails.

as your car is a daily, depending on how high/wide you are obviously, the early wrx seats would be my choice

GC8 Seats - the Alcantara STI seats are very good and grippy.

I'm 6feet 4" tall and find these seats perfect for my build and height.

BTW 99 WRX Club Spec Evo 3 seats are the nicer STi Blue Alcantara ones as well. Out of the Legendary 22B.
