Angry Rear bumper... Help needed

Hey guys,

Someone crashed into my car when it was parked at a friends house and drove off. So i now need to find a rear bumper for my MY02 Sti.

Anyone got any ideas or places to get a new one and fitting and painting??

Im also not sure if the normal bug eye rear bumper differs to the sti model. Does anyone know.

Cheapest ive found so far is on www.ozeparts.com.au which is $275 plus postage.

Any help greatly appreciated...

Also if anyone has one lying around and wants to get rid of it please let me know.

Thanks guys.

Paul

WRX/STi bumper is the same item.

Try Japanese Wholesale in Wangara.

Regents Subaru in Osborne Park, or Subaru spare parts department at any dealer.

Why would you buy new though, when you can get a perfect condition 2nd hand one from JWS, for less?

You'll have to paint it anyway (unless you can find one in your colour at JWS).

chances are ur support bracket is bent as well...this will determine how the new bumper "sits" on the car

Hey mate, it was a very light hit... just on the side... enough just to crack the bumper...if it didnt crack it wouldnt had been an issue....

Take it to a bumper repair shop, a few of them around & they can weld & fill the plastic, might work out cheaper.

Thumbs up

Hey paul how are you mate? Thats no good.

The most expensive part of the whole exercise for you will be the painting of a new bumper unless you find one the same colour as yours.

Anyways the boys know their stuff you should be right
