Odometer Backlight not working ..
Hey,
Last night on the way home i noticed the Odometer Backlight wasnt working. This morning i checked the fuse that it would have been and its not blown, also, all other lights that are connected to that fuse are working (Position 13). What could be the problem? Backlight LED replacement (if possible)? Any help would be much appreciated Cheers -Nick

Just the odometer or the whole instrument cluster lights?
If its just the odometer maybe its the globe... |

Yeah just the odometer backlight. The outside temp. backlight and the other lights along the bottom middle (battery, ABS etc) still work.
Any idea how much itll cost to be replaced? Easy DIY?

This is a thread I looked up for you (cause I'm a likeable chap) It goes through the process for changing the color of your lights. Not that you'll want to do this but it is a step by step on how to get everything out. Should help a lot http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/showthre...hanging+lights
Cheers, Phil

Cheers Phil, I appreciate it, but i got it sorted.
I just unscrewed the two screws that are on the 'roof' of the cluster housing bit and took out the plastic surround, then i unscrewed these three screws which allowed me to take out the cluster (with wires still attached) so i could get to the back of it. At the back its just like a board with a series of 'twist in/out' bulbs so i just took out the one that wasnt working and now gotta replace it with a working one. Turns out the bulb was dead which caused it to not illuminate because i used the bulb from the outside temp meter and tried it again and it worked. Cheers for the help! -Nick
