Dude... don't bother with 17"s on an 08... definitely get 18"s... even with coilovers, 17"s are going to be too small with the size of the guards on the new WRX!

Having looked/driven the 08 STI with 18's on it and the 08 WRX with 17's it's obvious what the answer is. Dont short change yourself early in the life of your car or you will regret it. Just save the cash til you can afford the 18's imo.

They'd look crap on a GDB unless you were using them as track rims...17s are just too small for 01 onwards!

Would look good, but undersized to be honest.
