Can just the scoop be changed?? How much for an STI MY03/04 scoop?

yes, but some modifications are required. should be able to source one about $100 - $150 2nd hand if it's already the colour you want, otherwise painting it cost a bit too.

I would prefer to change the whole front end, but can think of better things to spend $4500 on at the moment.. scoop could be the way at the way til I can get an MY05 I want...cheers

by $4500 you mean the front bonnet, fenders, front bumper and headlights?

dont think that's gonna work..........the metal headlight surround of the bugeye wouldn't accomodate the MY03-MY05 headlights............. good try though

Can be done. You just need the MY03-05 radiator support panel.

MRT do the 03 style scoops for 01/02 cars. Approx $240 + GST + Painting.
