Default front mount paint flaking

I have a front mount currently painted matt black. The paint is starting to chip off after the cruise on Sunday (stone chips).Just need some advice as what is the best option.Do you just sandpaper the paint off or is it best to get it professionally done and resprayed?I do like the stealth look but looks like shit when paint is faking.Car is Black/Gold fleck.

Thanks,

Mike

when i did mine on my silvia, i scratched it with sandpaper before i hit the matt black to roughen it up a little.

and i just used Export Matt black, i did it 6 months before i sold the car, and it worked fine.
