Default Request for help: De-orange peanut-eye headlights

Well as much as I worry about doing the below DIY myself, I'd rather do it that way than pay workshop rates...

For anyone who has already done this, do you have any words of wisdom to share?

And for anyone who has done this before and has a bit of spare time to help me out, that'd be awesome! I'd be happy to throw a carton or two your way for your time...

Thanks everyone - Nik

What a coincidence, i was searching through rexnet yesterday and had some free time so i just did this DIY yesterday. Word of advise .. done try to be superman when pulling apart the lens/chrome bit from the reflector housing. I ended up putting a small crack in the chrome surround of the first light i did, but apart from that, it was all good.

P.M me if you want some help, happy to lend a hand

Nothing special but its relavent and im proud of doing it myself
I got the silver coated orange globes in there rather than the full orange globes as they seem to reflect quite a bit or orange and makes it look similar to stock.

Just follow the diy instructions on rexnet and its easy. Scary to put in oven at first but youll realise its a simple job. Be careful not to muck around with original globes too much or theyll short circuit as i managed to do (got some better phillips globes in there now anyway).

didn't want to start a new thread!

Will hopefully be doing this soon, wanted to know the people that have done it and painted the lights what paint did you use and also any prep work on the surface required before painting? Also any tips would be sweet

I've de-oranged mine, and I sourced the silver globes that flash orange too.
You can get them from any AutoPro store, $50 a pair. Model #: Philips WY21W.
Happy to help anyone do theirs, or do it for you, just PM me.

Similar query, I have the tail lights below and they have a silver painted line around the edge inside the lens which has slowly worn away from water penetrating the edges, is there any way I can get in there to re-paint the line?
