Debadging your 04 WRX
Hey All
Just wondering if anyone has de-badged there boot. I am wanting to do it and am wondering how hard it its and what needs to be done? Any tips would be great Cheers |

not hard at all... just put a cloth underneath a flat head screwdriver.. one of those small types and gentley pry each letter off...
make sure u do it GENTLEY otherwise ull poke the flathead through the cloth and scratch the paint |

i think an old licence or library card is bit safer.
to remove the shit left over, get some eucalyptus oil and scrub with tissue paper. |

is that even for the wrx badge and the all wheel drive badge?? or is that just for the subaru? thanks heaps |

yeah thats for all the badges.. they ahve the same adhernent gooey material..

Dental floss, and a hairdryer.
Hold the hairdryer up to the letters for a bit til they get warm (this makes the glue easier to remove), then run the dental floss behind the letter until it cuts through the glue, removing the letter. VERY little chance of scratching or scuffing, and it works a treat Use metho to remove the remaining glue residue. |

I used hair dryer, and my drivers license :P
Then clean the remaining glue with my fingers. After doing so, I put them back because the car looked funny without badges.
