Default The Golf got its first detail

Ok guys, I got around to getting all of that red dust off (well most of it, hopefully you can help me out here!)

I started with giving it a full clean with Megs Gold Class shampoo:

Notice the swirls *shudder*

Then I used Pinnacle clay bar. I actually can't believe how many contaminates were on the car as it is new!

The car was looking better already I also gave it another wash with Gold Class with warm water.

I decided to use Poly Lack Nano Clean with all the swirls and how many contaminants were on the car. It is the first time I have used the product. It was very easy to use. I hand applied it here, I was not too sure of using the RO on a blue edge or not, so I went the safe route. (comments??)

Plates off to make it easier to clean the bumpers

Then to finish up I used the Poly Lack Nano Seal

Ok Now this is the problem.... This is the underneath of the car STILL!!!!
What is an easy and safe way of getting all of this nasty crap off? I am thinking degreaser or truck wash on a hoist? Suggestions?

Any comments welcome especially with removing these swirls!

And now tomorrows mission, Racheals Car (Which I also used to go down south with)

Looks great Dan,
I found with Dave's mrs Golf, brand new still contained alot of fallout on the paint.

I've got some heavy duty degreaser which works a treat with under car red dirt. Barely need to scrub it. It's diluted to suit to whatever type of application. If you like a bottle drop me a pm.

i will for sure!

especially to show you what a non lemon f6 is all about and one that's nudging 900hp!

it was such a shame, because the car, the one you bought, sounded like it had a babied history before you got it. ex managers car blah blah. the curse of series 1 or worse the ba syndrome struck again. either way, looks like the golf is quite the polar opposite, small and reliable!

Oh yeah, I would pay to see that masterpiece Ramon!

It was a shame and I really shouldn't bag the fords out as much as I do but it has definitely left a bitter taste in my mouth!
