Hey dose anyone know if the MUGEN STYLE FRONT LIP MY99-MY00 would fit on a 98 cleanly or would you need to spend ages making it fit? thats the url for the lip below

its to suit the MY99-00 bumper. It won't be a straight fit to your MY93-98 bumper but with enough time and money anything can be done...

one specifically for the earlier GC bumper will fit straight up, the other might require a few hundred spent and some time at a body shop. Try borrow one for a test fit?

I had someone mod a 99-00 sti style lip to fit a 94 rex one time...he had to chop the lip in to 3 bits and rejoin it...basically the front was the same but the 99-00 has more distance between the front of the car and the wheel arch where the lip bolts in to...so its this piece (between the front and the wheel arch) that needs to be 'shortened".... best bet - get one for your model and bolt it straight on!...if thats not a choice or too expensive then modding one of mine could be done I think...they are polyurethane so cutting is easy..rejoining I am not sure of the best method.

The sti lip (and I'd say the other lips based for 99/00) are more square. The 94-98 bumper is alot more round.
