Removing Side AC Vents
Hi all,
Before I just go forcing things (i.e. breaking things), is there a procedure to remove the side AC vents? These ones:  Cheers! (P.S. No I am not installing a gauge there...  )

Can't remember how I got them out of my spare dash (all I remember is it was a bit awkward & the dash was out at the time) but if you break them I've got a set here that have only done about 20k, the silver ring is separate to the ball unit too.

Ok the surround supposedly just clips off. If that's the case, should be all good.

Some AC vents are screwed in underneath, so you might need to suck it in and get under the dash John

yeah there is 3 screws behind the vent that holds it in. the siver ring does just pull out too. you'll have to remove the cover under the steering wheel and sqeeze your arm through with a stubie screw driver.
