ive got a 96/97 wrx with the really basic stock front grill on it.. see:

very soon ill be putting a recently acquired cwest front bar on and am looking to get a new grill at the same time painted and fitted etc to modernise the old girl..
my question is: will a '00 grill go on a 96/97 rex and *insert noob question here* will the new grill interfere at all with the cwest front..

i'm pretty sure that you'll have to change your bonnet as well if yuo do decide to change the grille

96 bonnet and lights will not fit with later model grille
bumper will fit either

so my assumption is.. the bumper will fit any make gc8 but the later model grills will not go on the 96/97 because of the different bonnet size/shape etc?

righto.. uv sorted it out mate.. ive got morettes on the front.. but to change the grill, ill need an updated bonnet..

oh dam..
ill have to upgrade to a bigger intake and better looking honeycomb vents now

mines a '97 and has been converted ( before i bought it though )... it makes the car look a whole heap better dude...

i can imagine so mate.. do u have any pics of what she looks like now?..
id be interested to see if the difference is noticeable..

now to find a more modern bonnet.. hmmmmmmm..
