Mounting Turbo Timers in GDB's Interior
Hi Guys,
Must have tried at least 5 different types of double sided tape and have had no luck in sticking the turbo timer in the area under the steering wheel. Anyone know what type of double sided tape that is effective? I'd prefer not to drill any holes either. |

Try heavy duty velcro. The one ive got in my car has it and I guess the previous owner go it from spotlight or something, can barely budge it from the velcro but is only now slowly loosing its stickyness to the car cause I keep playing with it.

rub down the area with isocol (isopropyl alchol) to take away any grease film left by interior cleaning (armourall etc)

+1 for HD velcro this shit is strong enough to hold my sub boxes in so im sure it can hold a turbo timer in place

if ur not a smoker put it where the ashtray sits. usually any turbo timer sits quiet nice in there and dont need anything but ive used just a normal type that comes with the timer and it holds it well.

I'm with yumafia on that one. Even though I've got a classic and I don't actually use my timer, that's where it sits
