I agree, ordered them and they look sweet. Little hint when installing, take the light out of the car, makes it a lot easier :P Learnt after we did the 1st one on the car

Ive also seen it done on a GC8 on here, NIX WRC? His tail lights are tinted black for anyone who wants to know that its been done.

anyone managed to get hold of blubatmobile yet??? I've tried, but the email got bounced back

have also tried with tint film, but is a bastard to do....got fucked off and threw the roll into the garden....now got grass stuck all over the fucking stuff!

am going to REPCO today, aparently they do a spray on tint film, and a lens tint too....will let you know if it is any good

OK - blue batmobile hasn't been on NASIOC for about 6months now, and his email address is no longer valid.....so I'm guessing these light covers arn't available at the moment.

Have trolled the net, and found a american company called DecalFX who do similar things. Basically looks like window tint film and a heat gun. Here's a video of how to do it:

well, window tint stuff is about $30 - $35, I've already got a hot air gun so no drama there....I'm gonna brave it tomorrow on one of my headlamp protectors - that way, if I funk it up i can just buy a new cover! Will post pics later in the weekend (if I havn't lost my temper and smashed the fecker up! LOL!)
