anyone able to tell me where they have been able to get the elephant skin tolex to replace door card interior i.e. the door handles. I went to spotlight but couldnt see the material.

If you mean the grey cloth on the inserts try an auto upholstry shop, there is a big one in Welshpool (can't think of the name) or go to an auto trimmer & see if they have any hood lining, pretty much the same stuff, I had to get a Recaro partially re covered years ago & that was the closest thing we could find to use.
Pretty sure it's got a thicker backing foam too.

hey tom, you thinking upholstery distributors w.a.?

the covering on the door/ arm rest is what i refer to, the leather look.

the arm rest is vacuum molded.
as far as I know there is no longer anyone in w.a. that does vacuum molding.
it would be best/easier to try and get a good second hand door trim.

oh ok. but how do they re-trim it for custom door panels?

custom panels are either stitched and glued,
bogged/fibreglassed and painted,
or sent east to be vacuum moulded.

Not too sure, there is one off Abernethy & there was one down near Welshpool Rd but haven't been to either for about 12yrs lol.
