Each to his own, but frankly I can't be buggered with anything within a light year of that level of detailing.

I really only wax and clean my car to prevent the paint from badly deteriorating. (ie bird crap gets spot cleaned even if i can't be stuffed washing the whole car)

But you do come across some really anal types who will verbally chastise you for driving around with visible brake dust, and wax still left in the panel gaps.

if i had all his tools and products, i would probably spend 3days wash/polish/wax my car....so far high pressure cleaner...check....the rest....

I was just thinking that,

He was going to reject the car purely on the grounds of a blemish which was invisible to the naked eye..

FFS! I wouldn't bother with complaining about that minor a flaw on a fricking F430, let alone a lower model car from a budget manufacturer..
