Default MY06 Rubber Floormat Hatch Protector

I plan on putting a few aluminum toolboxes, etc in the boot when I travel and am lookin for a suitable rubber hatch flrmat fot flr protection, and prevent sliding in the boot area.

My ideas to start with are measure the rear and get clark rubber to cut it out; or has anyone sourced these at a reasonable price already ?

Can the polece bust you for this for not having a protective barrier between driver/pass seat and the rear, when seats folded and carrying heavyish cargo in the back ... I'm assuming yes; easy bait.

Cheers!

Why would carrying cargo in the rear with seats down be illegal? I highly doubt it would be, unless it restricts view from all of your mirrors or something similar. If its toolboxes which arent too big, these would be fine.

As you said go to Clark Rubber and get them to cut the shape out for you, be a pretty simple process. Cant really think of another/better way of doing it, you have hit the nail on the head there!

I thought maybe there was a law somewhere there, as if I hit the brakes real hard, Id have a good 60-80kg flying towards the drivers area.

Hope Clark's have some skilled craftsman there; last time I went to Perth Store there were Mall Rats everywhere that didn't have a clue.

Yeah they do have the tie down hooks. I wanted to get a rubber floor mat to prevent damage to the floor, and prevent any sliding about of equipment.
