I paid some guy with the fancy roller thing that attaches to your hub, he ended up using a rubber mallet like JME is holding, save your money and do it yourself.

Took him all of 10 minutes :D

heat up the guard with a heatgun or similar.. then it bends much easier and is less likely to crack the paint... should be fine!

Tino, I did mine myself cause i had a serious compression in the left rear at collie through the esses. It came about as i had unrolled guards,no camber bolts, 235 tyres and 8.5" rims. Was chopping the hell out of the tyre (moreso left than right). I used the rubber mallet on my liberty as well. ONly cracked the paint in one spot which i touched up. Would recommend using a heat gun to get some movement in the paint. HOWEVER as recommended just get them done properly. The rears aren't a concern as they have a skirt around the edge of the lip (05 - 07 sti).

If the prob is the diff then simple, lift all 4 wheels off the ground.

Maybe i meant the machine bolts onto the studs and due to the rear diff cant be used...
