Angry Just when you have a nice paint job......

I flew back from work last night, went out to my car this morning and this is what awaited me.....
Scratch 1 (just below the bonnet scoop)

Scratch 2 (Just above bonnet scoop) - I have no idea what that other mark is, but its not dirt, the paint is marked.

The car is kept in the backyard, and I know theres a from somewhere around that uses my car as a bed (as much as I try to prevent it).
Looking at the scratches, I have my doubts as to them being caused by the cat, so Im thinking it happened sometime when I was home last and Ive been out somewhere.......its not from me when I last cleaned it...I dont use alot of pressure nor do I use circular motions. (besides, Im very careful about it)
So, will this buff out (me paying someone who knows how to do it as I am useless at that stuff) or am I looking at some touch-up work? -its not down to the metal at least.

Looks like it should come out. Bit of 1500 wet and a good buff should do it...

It doesn't look too deep, you might just get away with some liquid scratch remover. Theres a few good brands out there, I've used mothers scratch remover and it worked great. I'd be giving that a try before going at you car with wet & dry.

The first scratch looks like someone has tried to clean something off it, and there has been sand or grit in the towel/chamois/clay or whatever.

That sucks
