Mine is very similar to that one. I found the best way was to remove the metal hinge, clean both surfaces thoroughly, and stick it on with foam/rubber double sided tape.
My holds 3 x 60mm defi's, and has never budged.

how do you remove the hinges?? is there a way to take the whole compartment off??

Pay the extra and get a quality one that clips straight into the existing clips, comes pre-painted to match the factory dash... thus makes the whole thing look like it is factory ; )

Genuine unit fits in oem location and has locator screw at the front which holds the whole thing together. As blue.spec mentioned, you can then utilize a din triple gauge such as the defi unit.
