Default Faulty Seat belt buckle

Hey all,

Dont know what caused the passenger side belt buckle to play up on the weekend, but now it wont click into place. anyone got any ideas what needs to be done to fix this, or does it have to be dismantled?

Dont mess with pulling it apart. Replace it.
It is a safety device and you dont want to cop the shit if it fails in an accident after you have messed with it.

It can be, by heading to a wrecker and replacing it for about $20

I don't think they're allowed to sell seatbelts or buckles secondhand (safety issue as above)......

don't know if this helps but i remember reading on my kids child seat instructions that if the locking mechanism became jammed to soak it in hot water, dry it out and it should work again, might be worth giving it a try

this is true,

they are not supposed to sell second hand brake hoses either,

BUT,

I have never seen a wreckers say no, and pass up a sale.
