mine will be fine as a rally car anyway, but it will comply as the same chassis is being used for the new sti a-line carbon (factory sti with carbon roof!)

Still won't comply with ADR's as we will never see that model in OZ!

AMS do a replacement carbon roof skin for the GD chassis.

i will mate, i am planning on doing a full build but a lot of the bits haven't arrived as yet, over the next month i will get it going for you, at the moment i just have a pile of boxes full of awesome bits and a car with a fucked roof (althought the interior has started to come out of it!)

Lower center of gravity, which isnt a big issue in wrx's because of the boxer engine, but the lower you get the COG the better it will corner. It should make a big difference.

I'm interested to know the class of rally/track car that allows you to replace the roof skin with carbon?
To my knowledge even sports sedans (the most highly modified sedan based race car class) still requires an original equipment roof and turret. |
