change sidelight bulb
hi guys
i need to change the driver's side sidelight bulb on my bugeye and can't seem to see how to access the bulb. Do I need to remove the whole headlight? cheers |

Shouldn't need to remove the light 'but you might want to as its hard to explain but easy to do'.
Once you remove the rubber water seal you will notice a shiny metal oval like tag, all you need to do is push that in and out to release the 'stay', from the latch. Once you have done that you can remove the light globe. If you take the light out once, so you can properly see what you're doing then you shouldn't need to take it out again. From memory there are three 10mil bolts:
Cant remember if there is a third or not. Might need to be a bit more detailed with your topic and post though as it could be construed that you are talking about the reflector 'the white diamond like piece in my avatar', which isn't hooked up on the Australian compliance models. Topic says sidelight and post refers to headlight. I'm hoping you're referring to the headlight or else facepalm.jpeg is in full effect!
