Default Drivers Side Window (WRX MY97)

Hey Everyone,

Had my car broken into over the weekend. Fuckers walked by, elbowed my drivers window, reached in to grab whatever they could without opening the door/setting alarm off. Which was pretty much nothing...

Either way, I need to source a new drivers side window. It's for a 97 Club Spec WRX. Anyone have any suggestions as to where to look, and how much it would cost?

Benson from BBK got me a whole refurbished door for $160 last time he did work, so I couldn't imagine a window should cost too much?

Any help would be appreciated.

it is probably cheaper to buy a complete door if its the same colour. My mates ve ss ute got broken into on the weekend, same situation as you, he got charged $440 for a new side window...try JWS for a whole door.

Ring around the usual suspects for the replacement side window, you might be suprised.

Taking a side window out of a wrx is easy, yes. (probably easier than an R33)...

It's the price of the glass Judas in concerned about. In that regard, picking up a second-hand complete door is probably going to be the better option.

The actual window just fell out when I moved it, so I can assume it is very easily put a new one in there. The interior of my door is custom, so buying a whole new door isn't what I want to do, unless it is somehow cheaper than the glass of a new window?

By interior i take it you mean the door cards/trim.
That generally isn't included when you buy a door.

I know I've got a front glass, just not too sure which side it is, if you have no luck with GX-REX send me a pm & I'll have a look.
