I may leave it, I've shown a few friends too and they agree, looks too disproportionate with those wheels (although I wouldn't go larger than 17x8). I'm all for doing what I want with my own car, but at the same time I dont want one people will point and go FAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

Yeh very nice looking car albeit not executed properly imo..

For it to work fender flares need to be moulded in and the extension needs to follow down the front and rear bumper..

But this guy is doing purely to fit larger rubber so function over form..

Theres no advantage of doing this if ur not going to run larger rubber imo..

17x8 is small on a GC8 atleast want to run 9 to be able to fill those flares..

I actually like the theory, looks purposeful. I wouldnt mind some small clip on extensions (ala 05 STi) to make my rears fit up a bit more legally.

However, mega gay spacers to make those offset wheels fit on a 5x100PCD hub make baby jeebus cry.
