Ooh, this might explain why my car only locks with my alarm. I guess I will be tinkering this weekend :D
Be careful when tinkering. Sometimes when alarm installers can't figure out the single wire system they will put an extra actuactor in the drivers door, or even worse they will get rid of the factory central locking controller and put something different in. |
Thanks Fobz, will give that a crack today hopefully.
Good Luck Alt :) |

Very few GC8's had an actuator in the drivers door, that's why a lot of them have an aftermarket actuator installed.

Per our chat today I think we're going to go the easiest option of putting an extra actuator in there mate.
Thanks again for all your help, you're a bloody legend. |
Bumping a very old thread.
Does anyone have the pdf document on this wiring? Got the same problem currently myself |

Bump an old thread again :)
I've copied this and my locks open for only a second then close. Also my drivers door does not move. I assume because my drivers door isn't opening its switching back to whatever position my drivers door lock is being the master. Reason my door won't open is either due to dud actuator or no actuator at all. Would I be correct with my assumptions? |
