Anyone know where I can get a grille for the scoop? Something that sits under the hood? Did a google search and found a few possibles. Anyone using one? Also do you guys know a place to order subi hardware other than the dealer. Distributor sites or anything?

Subaru Parts W.A. is the distributer in Western Australia. Don't think they'll be much cheaper then a dealer, unless your in the trade.
Be careful putting a grill in the intercooler scoop, any obstruction that restricts airflow to the intercooler could spell trouble, if anything you would only want to use flyscreen style mesh.

If you really want to, you can install your own grill/mesh. SupaShit Auto do SCA mesh in a piece that will easily cover the grill, and also bumpers etc, in assorted colours for like $30. The scoop is especially a slut to install this on :/ good luck

Thanks guys, I tried to fab one up tother day and it was a total mofo. Might buy one from the states. Post up some pics when I gets it.

Try grille craft in the USA. I have seen some on the IWSTI forum and look good. I have been looking to get one for the scoop as well as the lower bumper opening

Be careful on what kind of Grill you get for you scoop. Went I bought my WRX it had a grill already in the scoop. Thought that it would be letting air through still, but when i took it out it was blocking heaps of air! Used an air compressor and could hardly feel any air actually getting past the grill. Once it was out of the scoop the car felt smoother and felt like it wanted to get up and go more. Plus the scoop looks way better without a grill, lol,
