R cam - Head unit I/F
Howdy peeps,
Thought I might just bang this here, for those who are car A/V minded to answer for me. I have a Kenwood indash DVD player, (KVT747DVD), and bought a reverse camera off Fleabay to use with it. (One with no monitor, as the Kenwoods hide-a-way box has A/V, R cam inputs, etc). Off the back of the camera, its simply one yellow RCA lead, (to go to hide-a-way box I/P), a power lead, (that you splice into reversing light power and gnd), and thats it. Did that, (assume) the camera is getting power, as reverse light comes on when you engage Reverse, but no picture. Have gone into setup screen, have "R cam interupt" set to on, etc, but no joy. Think I've tried everything. Seller is good about it all, but thinks as the camera is PAL, that my screen may not support? Dont they do PAL and NTSC? Thoughts? Happy to be corrected if it's something ridiculous I've overlooked. Brent.
