am wanting to get these spider led globes to go in replace of the standard brake light globe but as the 01, 02 tails lights have that 3 line smudge on the lense instead of clear, im just curious to know if these leds would look dumb or good.

Jord, they look great in the clear 06 tail lights (as per Jme's S204)..

I reckon try them and if they don't look great in the opaque 02 tail lights, someone with an 03+ will more than likely buy them off you.

When i put LEDs in mine the air bag light came on to show a globe out, will the bug do the same?

I THINK they have a built in resistor to replicate the load that an ordinary filament bulb has, but I can't be sure.
