hey guys i have a hks turbo timer i want to mount in the spare din beneath my pioneer head unit and i have tried grill mesh which was to flimsy and pushed through i tried tread plate or diamond plate which didn't look flush enough and out of place i tried to fiberglass something but i am not the best at it ; S any help would be good i did consider using the pocket with the lid you can buy but my head unit isn't standard size so it won't work ; S

i am aware turbo timer is pointless for my car but i bought it and i like it and would like to mount it nicely

What bout mounting it under your ashtray??

wrap vinyl, carpet or whatever around a bit of mdf/wood that you make up to form the 'L' thats left behind.
thats what i did for my mini UHF i had in my lux, and then i found the an ebay spec surround and put that it, 40 chann then just slid straight in.

i guess you could even make a full surround, and wrap it?
idk, ive got my turbo timer on the RHS of my steering coloum, also have my keypad next to it, both kinda just above the i/c spray button
