Default Intercooler Stencils

Hey guys,
Took the time on the weekend to add the STi logo on my STi and thought I would share for the other MY08+ owners who miss out on it!

I first found this article 2008 Subaru WRX STi - DIY Intercooler Logo and began the hunt for a stencil....

Found this website with vinyl stencils. The one I got stuck down great and left really nice clean edges.

Intercooler and Grill Stencils (branded)

Anyway...finish product ended up as below!

Edit: Just FYI...I used "Real Red" VHT High Temperature Caliper Paint and applied 2 light coats followed by a slightly heavier final coat. 10 minutes between each coat and then left for 2 hours before pulling off the stencil.

Hope someone else finds this useful!
Drew

Since my STI didn't have it either ... Been there... done that... Also have the logo specs for creating your own stencil.

WRX DIY Guides

BTW - It gave my STI 42kw more power.

Need to be careful as they can look quite clumsy.

Just remembered I forgot to post that I have a can of the red spare if anyone doesn't want to fork out for one. Might as well save the $20

Or you could order some new Brembo decals and paint your calipers!
