Default MY10 quad pipe

Hi members,

i have an MY10 WRX and have been seeing the MY11s getting about with the quad tail pipes and its starting to appeal to me. then i wondered if it was just a matter of swapping out the stock single tip mufflers for the twins?

in comparison the stock single tips make the exhaust very spindly..and they are.

or is there more to it?

Do you have the sedan or hatch?
If you have the hatch you will need make a cut in the left hand portion of the rear bumper.

If you have the sedan, I have a set of muddlers you can have to test to see if they fit, if they do, you can have them
Assuming that the size of the mufflers haven't increased and use the same hanger locations, then there shouldn't be an issue with them fitting on.

these pics appear to indicate a possibility, thanks to google images.

however not sure if its camera angle but the quad tip system pipes at the Y junction appear to turn up whereas the normal MY10 system appears flatter at the Y junction.

The hangers look almost spot on for the mufflers anyway.

These appear to be 2 different cars assuming one is 2010 and other 2011... according to google images.

as expected they bolt straight up and there is just very slight contact with the rear bumper exhaust surrounds. the tips just resting against the bumper. i am not running anti-lag yet but at this stage the bumper heat issue is fine.

IMHO they look much better and there is an extra beefiness to the note now which is a bonus.

very stoked and happy Tony helped me out with supply and fitment. i shall pay it forward.
