Hey All,

On the weekend i cracked my STI Front lip on the CS9....

Has anyone every fixed up one of these?

The crack is about 50mm long.... hoping to fix him up and see how it looks before I go fork out 900 bucks for a new one

Have plastic welded one with a cable tie and a soldering iron b4

just buy an ultrex, or claim the insurance like I did

get epoxy from supercheap etc, wont look brand new but atleast its a fix! try to secure it more tightly with gromets or cable ties so that it doesnt happen next time

Was thinking about going through insurance but because im only 20 it would be cheaper just to buy it

was thinking about doing some epoxy, sanding it back and painting it, but i'm not to sure how it will pull up?

Switch to carbon fibre front lip form Ultrex. $375. Looks way better imo

Ive always liked the look of the OEM STI front lips but they are cracked priced @ $800 or so.

Generic PU Lip = $200. STI badge adds another $700 for all the imaginary stability and down force it "generates". Assholes.

Buy a stolen one off gumtree for 50 bucks

That is some expensive plastic...

Try fix it first, if not happy, then replace it simple might learn something!
