Default Eclipse Satnav unit

Hey Guys,

I had a search but couldn't find what I was after,

I had the eclipse unit (AVN827GA) installed today by Subaru, apparently it's a bit different to the one they install in the premium version.

In the book it says it has full ipod connectivity/usb connectivity.

Mine won't work tried my ipod classic, mum's iphone and my 4 gig USB stick, they don't even power up.

My questions is has anyone else had a problem with the USB connectivity on the unit?

I am going in to see Subaru tomorrow morning in case I am just doing something wrong or if they just haven't connected it properly.

Thanks.

The USB Cable will plug into a USB Port on the back of the Head Unit somewhere. Not really alot that can go wrong.

I am very surprised they have installed an Aftermarket product into your car. I didnt think they would have the expertise, normally the dealers are pretty strict to stick to OEM Products only so they can guarantee plug and play with no headaches.

Hopefully just something simple

The eclipse unit is OEM. Comes standard in Premium Outback, Liberty, and Impreza/XV satnavi models
And is available as an accessory. Subaru don't make car audio. Most of the older models were kenwood or Panasonic. Eclipse is made by Fujitsu Ten.

Perhaps the ipod cable to the back of the unit is disconnected?
