Default no interior illumination

my car dash lights arent coming you. you can still see the blinkers, oil light but the actual background lighting so you can see the speedo etc at night isnt lighting up. Also have noticed that around my ac control lights arent coming on, neither do the cig socket or ash tray lights.

Firstly i checked the 10amp illumination fuse and it had no power going to it. I then checked and replace a dead 20amp lighting fuse under the bonnet as it was blown. Then the 10amp fuse inside the car had power. I noticed the cig socket and ash tray light were now coming on. But not the speedo or ac control light.

ideas?

the problem happened because i hardwired a radar ddetector and accidentally wired it off the illumination wire behind the cig socket iinstead of the accessories
