Default Philips hids

Hey guys I'm looking to buy a set of h4 Philips hids, for my 99 wrx. However I've read that sometimes when you fit a conversion kit to a reflector type setup such as mine, sometimes there are issues with the light scatter pattern, resulting in the new setup producing less visibility that with the original halogens. The above mentioned problems have been described on the newer gd rexies, and wanted to know people's experience when fitting specifically Philips hid conversions on the a my99/00 gc8 car. Cheers.

On the non genuine items, the hid globes do not have a reflector built into the globe which then scatters the light, resulting in poor vision and light scatter.

Will PM you some pics once I get back into the workshop later today.

Cheers,
Mao

Hi thanks for the info, so if I got the genuine Philips conversion kit, there wouldn't be any problems in regards to poor light dispersion?
